Biography

Barbara Hirsh is a sought-after New York fashion designer who has been in the business since 1980. She is a 1978 graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.). She worked with, "fashion marketing genius of the 80's" Warren Hirsh, and his son Mark Hirsh, for 10 years, revolutionizing the way that fashion is retailed. Her successes include: launching the first designer jean line in the world-branded as Gloria Vanderbilt, bringing the Calvin Klein jean line to record sales volumes, and helping Calvin Klein achieve a half-billion dollars, ($500,000,000.00) in annual sales. The Hirsh family innovated co-marketing and co-branding in the fashion industry.

In 1999, 11 times platinum recording artist Britney Spears opened her act and her career wearing a pink and white 3D leather sculpture by Barbara Anne Hirsh, which has become world famous. The pink and white outfit was so successful that numerous licensing deals developed including a Britney Spears doll wearing the Barbara Anne Hirsh outfit. Barbara has also designed and produced custom fashions for popular singer,Whitney Houston. In the past, Barbara spent three years adapting the Michael Jackson look into a clothing line for the junior market.
